Those of you planning to fish the king runs in the lower Cook Inlet this year should keep an eye out for newly imposed restrictions. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Sportfisheries has announced that Lower Cook Inlet stream and marine waters will be “managed conservatively during the 2013 season.” For more details, check out the article published today by the Homer Tribune and be sure to check with the ADFG Sportfisheries Division about further regulations.
