By this time in the winter, the flounder have usually moved out of Galveston Bay and taken their annual migratory trip to the Gulf of Mexico. But, Saltwater Nation Anglers are reporting that they are still catching flounder in the Bay and in the ship channel.
The running assumption is that the warm water has kept them around later than usual this year, but everyone anticipates they will move on soon. So, you may want to head out to the West Bay and get a few flatties in before the years wears out on us.
