Congratulations to the Miss Annie for her first place win of the West Palm Beach Fishing Club’s 77th Silver Sailfish Derby. The Silver Sailfish Derby was established by the West Palm Beach Fishing Club in January 1935; the event is the oldest running sailfish tournament in the world.

Miss Annie’s crew released six sailfish on Saturday, giving the boat the three-day total of 14 released sails to take first place.
The second-place boat Jichi released three sailfish on Saturday for a three-day total of 13 sails.
The Doing It All, had logged an amazing 12 sailfish on Friday to start the day Saturday in first-place, but was not able to connect all day Saturday, leaving them with a third-place finish.
Wrenegade took fourth with 11 sail releases.
