It’s that time of year. North Carolina offshore and inshore waters are abundant with fish and the fish are doing those things that make fishing North Carolina part of the lore and legend.
Offshore, the Gulf Stream is serving up billfish. We’re hearing reports of steady catches of sailfish, white marlin, and blue marlin. The wahoo, tuna, and mahi have also been keeping anglers busy around the Stream.
Nearshore waters have warmed and the cobia, king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, and bluefish have been keeping anglers more than satisfied.
