EGO’s new S2 Slider handles
Innovation is good. Smart innovation is great. When we first saw the new EGO S2 Slider net and accessory system, we knew we were looking at something great.
The EGO S2 Slider is a modular, expandable handle system that attaches to landing nets and other components, like deck brushes and gaffs.
The extendable handles are easy to operate, working with a simple push-button technology. The handles are strong and durable.
EGO S2 Sliders are easy to use
The S2 handles come in three sizes: a 48-inch handle that extends to 108 inches, a 29-inch that extends to 60 inches, and an 18-inch handle that extends to 36 inches. And each of these are seriously strong. The S2 features a large load-bearing capacity than the S1 models, and all three models can handle a 30-pound fish in the retracted handle position.
EGO S2 Slider nets come in various net sizes
The removable nets come in various sizes, as well, and can be purchased with your preferred mesh type: nylon, rubber, clear rubber, pvc, and rubber coated nylon. The net hoops are available in 5 sizes: small (14’x16′), medium (17’x19′), large (19’x21′), large-22 (22’x23′), and extra large (24’x27′).

The modular system also allows you to remove the net from the handle and add other components. Currently EGO offers 8 attachments: a deck brush; 2 kinds of deck mops; a boat hook; a lure retriever; a release knife; and 2 gaff hooks, one 3-inch gaff and one 4-inch gaff. All of these attachments come with a two-year limited warranty. They are, of course, as rugged as the handles and nets, and the ability to switch between attachments makes this an incredibly useful system.
