Late this afternoon, the National Hurricane Center in Miami announced that the first named storm of the 2013 Atlantic hurricane season has formed in the Gulf of Mexico. As of 6 p.m. ET, Tropical Storm Andrea had winds of 40 mph and was moving to the north at 3 mph. The center of the storm was located about 310 miles southwest of Tampa.

Weigh in scales will be open from 3-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 9th. Registration and Banquet times remain the same on Wednesday.
