Check out this story published today by the Daily Record of Parsippany, New Jersey. Apparently Anglers Clint Simek and Captain Tom Rostron were prefishing for the June 14-15 Brett Bailey Mako Rodeo and the June 21-23 Mako Mania and Mako Fever (both tournaments run out of Manasquan River) when a nice sized mako entered their chum slick. Enticing the shark with bait, Rostron teased the toothy critter into taking a baited hook. The mako, as they are apt to do, started leaping. Five jumps later–and only about 25 seconds later, the shark jumped and landed in the boat.

Check out the Daily Record story here to read how Simek and Rosron tell the story.
