We’re getting word from Saltwater Nation anglers in South East Australia that offshore fishing is heating up. Anglers this past week in the Narooma District have seen an increase in both albacore and yellowfins caught in the Tasman Sea.There is also talk of a large Broadbill being caught this week that has record-setting potential at 148kg (326.5lbs). But, the big news is focused on tuna.
Warmer water seems to be pushing up toward Eden, just off of Ben Boyd National Park, with good surface water temperatures south to Bunga. Anglers have had good results with Rapala’s XRap. You may also want to try around the island for kings, though they have been scattered and difficult to find.
