Inagural Ladies Dolphin Tournament

Congratulations to Kimberly Furness of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Casey Jeffries of Key Largo, Florida who were named Champions of the inaugural ladies Dolphin Tournament this past week in Key West, Florida.

The tournament, which benefits the Florida Keys Elk’s Lodge charities, registered 31 boats with 83 anglers competing for top honors. Furness and Jefferies, fishing as Team First Choice, not only won the overall tournament with a combined three-fish total of 74.1 pound, Jefferies took top honors with the larges dolphin at 28.7 lbs.

Fifteen-year-old Seanna Lindback of Tavernier, Florida, won the tournament’s junior division fishing with Captain Roy Lindback aboard the Tiki and landing a 21.6 pound dolphin.

Congratulations to all of the tournament participants and all of the winners! This is a great tournament for a great cause.
