Sailfish Jumps in the Boat
A few days ago Inventive Fishing shared a video from Crocodile Bay Resort on the Osa Penninsula in Costa Rica depicting a sailfish leaping into the transom of one of Crocodile Bay’s charter boats. Well, ABC’s Josh Elliot ran the clip on Good Morning America on Friday as the “Play of the Day,” but completely messed up the story.
As you can see from the GMA website and video, Elliot refers to the sail as a “huge marlin,” despite all of the original video postings clearly identifying the sail correctly. This is the highest caliber of journalism, folks.
