The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council announced today that its Standing Special Mackerel and Special Reef Fish Scientific and Statistical Committees will meet May 29 – 31, 2013, in Tampa, Florida. The meeting will address benchmarks for Spanish mackerel, King mackerel, cobia, and red snapper.
