National Geographic today published a really interesting article about cobia farming.
The article, which provides some background about aquaculture, examines Brian O’Hanlon’s Open Blue fish farms and the potential for raising cobia as a sustainable food fish. Written by Daniel stone and augmented with images and videos by Spencer Milsap, the article provides an intriguing overview of O’Hanlon’s Panama operations.
According to the article, O’Hanlon explains “that raising an animal in its natural habitat means it will be healthier and taste better and, with the right technology, grow far more efficiently.”
