Gulf Coast Cooler Company has introduced a new interlocking cooler system.
The system allows users to integrate various coolers and component into a single unit using Gulf Coast’s “Dock-N-Lock” attachment system.
At ICAST 2014, we took a look at the interlocking 65-quart and 35-quart cooler system and found it to have a number of great features.
The coolers themselves are true 65-quart and 35-quart coolers. They feature 3-inch lid insulation to provide long-lasting insulation in hot weather conditions. The coolers are made with premium injected insulation for increased insulation.
The coolers feature high flow drains with an integrated plug and plug retainer. The system is molded with a heavy duty roto-molded construction. The coolers have pro-grade hinges and rugged lid latches. The lid gaskets are single piece gaskets, and the lids are made with with an interlocking lid lip for tight lid seal. The lids also have a no skid top surface, too, as well as no-slip-non-marking feet.
The coolers come with sure-grip handles, and the coolers are outfitted with solid molded corner tabs for increased strength in a padlock compatible corner.
The standout feature of the Gulf Coast system, though, is their interlocking capabilities and the option of adding Dockhand components. Using Gulf Coast’s “Dock-N-Lock” system the coolers can be connected together and Dockhand accessories like cup holders and rod holders can be added to the unit.
The Gulf Coast Cooler systems are designed to be mobile and the Dockhand components include a mobility system that uses industrial-grade locking casters and 200-pound rated wheels for rugged mobility. The system includes an easy-tow handle that makes moving the coolers fairly easy–even when both are filled to capacity.
The coolers are currently available in khaki and white. Custom cushions can be added to the coolers.
