Gear Review: Egret Baits’ Vudu Eel

Egret Baits has brought us another tough-as-hell plastic lure: the Vudu Eel. Mimicking a small sand eel, this soft-bodied lure features an integrated weight-forward hook that provides some great darting action. Deadly on inshore species like trout, redfish, and snook, this eel imitator is also great for nearshore species like snapper, grouper, and seabass. And, it’s probably great for colder-water eel eaters like blues, stripers, and cod.
